Mit der Immunfluoreszenztechnik werden Antigene, Antikörper, Komplementfaktoren oder Fibrin mit Hilfe spezifisch bindender fluoreszenzmarkierter Antikörper mikroskopisch sichtbar gemacht. Man unterscheidet die direkte von der indirekten Immunfluoreszenz.
